“Emu” Dinawan

These Sterling Silver earrings are named Dinawan which is Wiradjuri language for Emu.

Wiradjuri Country is where i grew up in Dubbo NSW, my Ancestors are from Kooma near Cunnamulla area.

Emu's are found in most of Australia and there are many dreamtime stories about the Emu.  I am currently working in Yuwaalaraay Country where Dinawan are significant.

These earrings are completely 925 Sterling Silver with Australian Agate.  The earrings are a dark brown with a cream stripe.  These earrings are approx 3cm long from earring loop and are extremely light weight weighing approx 1.5g each. They make a great everyday earring and a deadly gift.
